Description
This stunning Trapiche Amethyst Sphere is a rare crystalline treasure, carrying a magnificent rainbow within. Its natural radial pattern — known as “Trapiche,” meaning “sugar mill” in Spanish — resembles the spokes of a wheel, radiating light and movement from its center.
Formed under unique conditions in water reservoirs deep within the Earth, Trapiche Amethyst is prized among collectors and healers alike for its rarity, beauty, and profound energetic qualities. It is a crystal of transformation, clarity, and emotional flow, helping its keeper embrace change and align with their higher path.
This sphere was carved from a high quality variety of Amethyst from Brazil that has great clarity & rare "fingerprint" inclusions. It has 2 big aura pockets with a couple of tiny ones and a bunch of flashy sections as well. The entire piece has a deep light purple colouring with some having darker sections due to colour zoning. Fingerprints happen when alternating layers within are forming into each other from the left & right sides in rhombohedral like formations. It's known as Polysynthetic Brazil Law Twinning.
Amethyst of this quality is very rare as it typically forms in clusters, geodes, or scepters. It rarely forms in a rough stone, & when it does it's typically low quality (chevron/dream amethyst).
